Ratio of incorporated atoms over time—nanoparticle simulation The black line shows the ratio between all atoms in building blocks that are incorporated into a cluster compared to the number of atoms in the initial 40 building blocks (16 LCPA, 24 NP). The development of the largest cluster is shown by the blue area. A building block is counted as a member of a cluster if it is closer than 2.8 Å to it. The simulation setup is shown in Fig. 9
